Great Concert Last Night

I went to the Obits and Night Marchers concert last night. They were in bands such as Hot Snakes, Rocket from the Crypt and Drive like jehu. It was an amazing experience with quite funny banter in between songs as well. A little extra for those who love a great stage presents. Check out these two bands and especially go seem them if they are in the area. If you like your face to be rocked off and your ears to ring the sweet sound of high frequency humming, than gear up for some awesome rock.

Ready to go back mid-westward

so taking a x-mas break back to Evansville, Indiana. I miss the shit out of that place, even though i'm sure i'm not missing too much. But I am. I haven't seen a river boat in a baboon's age. I haven't seen a jacked up truck with a tiny little girl driving it. Not to say that baby midgets drive big ol' trucks but it almost looks that way in truck size proportion to body size. I'm ready, I need to see it all. Just watch out, because i'll be on a rampage Indiana!

Arlington Art Center Opening

So there was an awesome turn out for the opening on friday night at the Arlington Art Center. It was a great experience and everyone was such a joy to work with. Please go see the show if you are in the area. Here is the website as well. Check it out, i'm sure there will be some pictures of the opening up soon. When i get some of my own, i'll post them.
Also, if you do go, check out the highlander motor hotel just a few doors down. there is a lady who lives in one of the rooms who has the entire thing covered in stuffed animals. its insane and kind of creepy, but awesome. Rock and Roll.

I have a show at the New Harmony Contemporary Art Gallery in New harmony, IN. The show opens in July So i'll be headed back to the mid-west in june to set up. Stay tuned for updates. I'm not as busy and I will be chill-axing.

last day of drawing class

I had my final crit for my drawing class. The work was great, the students were great and the conversations were great. great great great. They worked really hard all semester long and produced amazing work. I'm extremely lucky to have had such a talented class, and also they brought in delicious food and it was awesome.
